i am a huge f1 fan and i'm excited about the new package which is mainly for increased overtaking. past seasons have been mostly people "passing" one another with pit strategy since the car's aero package makes it really hard to pass on the track.

but even though they've done this, their decisions about what tracks to race at (we've lost the USGP, Canandian GP and French GP), and the high cost of kinetic enery recovery comes at a very bad time when teams can barely stay involved (both honda teams are now gone, one is looking to be bought) since cost is so high.

all i know is if my man hamilton can defend his title this year with completely different cars then people will maybe stop bitching since he won by a hair last year.

i think the KERS system is a neat addition to the rules for this year. now if only they would develop a cheaper version that you could use on street cars so you could get better gas mileage
