What does this light mean and how do I get the alert to stop..."alerting" The oil is under 1000 miles since the last oil change and is clean and clear! Seems like the dealer didn't reset the oil change counter or something in the ECU... my 2004 didn't have all these alerts and this car because it was used didn't come with an owners manual! Any tips or tricks!?

Are you talking about the oil light or the maintenance light? The latter is an easy fix, but I'd worry if your oil light is on.
