Kathy did you hear about Laguna Seca next June? It's planned. It's with the S2KCA bunch. They did a pretty good job if you can stay out of the politics.

I think I'm in.

Peter buddy. I know how you feel. It's freakin awwsome! Can't wait to see pics.

What was the failure do you think Josh?
How does SV do it better?

Value your opinion.

recommendations from experienced track event organizers went ignored.
no session download meetings.
lack of restrictions placed on out-of-control participants (spins in conga line, certain unnamed drivers terrorizing the pavement during novice sessions, etc.)

SV enforces a more serious attitude to the students.
SV places restrictions on people who are out-of-control.
SV will not let you back on the track if you missed your download for the previous session.
better control of cars moving out onto the track, i.e. making sure instructors are ALWAYS in the passenger seat of a novice car unless the instructor has signed them off.
timing, timing, timing! I need that to help me improve my skills at this point.
more track time for the money at any event they host.

off the top of my head, that is.

oink oink.

No, I am not going to the 9/20 Buttonwillow event, dammit. A good friend of ours is getting married in San Diego, so we're taking off Thursday night to head down there. I swear, every ing one of the last 4 events have been a conflict!!

I was just reading the NSX Files stories from the Thunderhill event, love those cracked rotor pix. The s2ki gang looks pretty mean sitting under that tent.

And yes, Josh, John and Aaron have a great gig going. BTW, how's DT's car?

Hmmm... In retrospect I have to agree with all of your points. Except timing. I think that's not up to the organizer but to the indiv due to liablity. If they time me I'd say no since I wouldn't be insured then.

Other than that agree.

Oh she'll approve. Just do it then tell her. She'll say, "Oh Chazmo you little devil. You'll have such fun."
