Agreed. I think he means "Nauseated". Nauseous means that YOU make people sick. Although the Webster dictionary allows for its meaning to be "affected with nausea" that's largely thanks to Woody Allen. Besides... MW is a bs dictionary.
Did you know the etymology of Nausea is the same as for Nautical? Yep... the greek word naus means wind. Hence sailing hence seasickness.
