i'm in santa cruz, about 5-6hrs north of LA. 2hrs south of SF. 1hr north of laguna seca.

 

That's not bad then...only a 9-10 hour drive. I might just have to come down for a long weekend.

ummm, we've had great kite flying weather past couple weeks. good drinking/drugs weather all year round. in the summer it gets a little tourist-filled, but as long as you don't drive anywhere it's not so bad. i'm within walking distance of the beach and downtown/bars so once i get home i don't get in my car till the next workday.
