no, supra is an overrated, understeering pig. fast/furious has blown it out or proportion. sure, it has a bulletproof block but it is shit if it's not on the drag strip
as for the 3-series with the M5 engine, it's been done by several tuners, Hamann, Schnitzer and Dinan to name a few. Basically, you have a 3-series coupe (preferably badged as a 323Ci for the sleeper effect), with a 400+hp M5 engine. throws off the balance a bit, but that can easily be remedied.
the downside to this is that the major appeal is the cool factor, not the track-worthiness factor
a true driver's car would be the 240Z with RB25DET, RX7 TT, or Z06
the 03 cobra is halfway between drivers car and insanely fast car, in which the 350Z TT falls in.
the 'cool cars' would be the 350Z also, as well as the 3-series V8

nsx and tuscan are too expensive, too exotic
the porsche - handle damn great but still ugly
the boxster is even slower and uglier. and you can't see the
ing engine. for that alone it's out of the question
