Boneless chicken breast sauteed in olive oil with garlic and italian seasoning and some sauce and parmesan and romano cheese on it. Also some spagetti and raw spinach.

Black angus steak with onions and a dry rub of garlic/salt and it is marinating in Italian dressing.

I've been telling the wife about an old recipe my mom whipped up called - pepe and patate - basically fried green peppers and potatoes. Simple but tasty, I can't eat fried food too often but once and a while is doable. It's a calabrese recipe , we would often stuff them into some fresh buns, but you can eat them straight up or as a side dish.

I don't mind posting this for Shareall to see, as I have a handful of Swiss Chalet sauces packages ready to be shipped out this week - it took me a while to gather them in this pandemic as we have avoided certain stores - but they are shipping asap

Tonight we ordered 1/4 chicken dinners from Swiss Chalet - chicken joint in our region. I had a 10 dollar credit to use from our last order and a 10 dollar coupon, so I figured 20 bucks off is worth using before we miss the deadline dates in all of the fine print that seems to accompany coupons.

I checked out their menu online looks good. I could go for one of their chicken wraps right now.
I need to get off my butt and fix myself some dinner!

Chicken wraps are good, they are famous for their rotisserie chicken, I always get the 1/4 chicken dinner - white meat. No carbs tonight ! lol

I really like their chalet sauce, it is very unique in flavour. Sending some packs to Shareall soon.

making home made chicken wings tonight. No breading, but skin on, baked at high heat, tossed in my home made sauce with special ingredients. Nothing fried. Somewhat healthy version of wings.

There used to be a Swiss Chalet right across from my work. The wrap was my go to for lunch, but 1/4 chicken dinner was the classic dinner. IIRC I think they used to do some kind of promo around Christmas and you'd get chocolate or something with the 1/4 chicken dinner.
