I agree, too. The S is a tightly sprung, nimble sports car. It follows the terrain like a cruise missile. It doesn't wallow over bumps like any luxury car, BMW included. The lights should point in the exact direction of the car at all times.

I'm almost certain the patent is owned by Valeo, who supplies many, including GM, DCX, and Ford. Weight? Approx. 3 kg per corner, for a 7 kg weight gain. Cost? I'm not sure (I'll have to find a purchaser outside of my area) but I'd guess it's $50 at the OEM level ($200 or more retail).
