i think having too much bandwidth and resources takes away from common sense. i see people at work trying to drop 5 megapixel pictures into powerpoints that only get shown on a an xga projector. and they wonder why they can't email 50 meg files.
then i see 12 meg pdf files that can be shrunk down to 2 megs with essentially no quality loss
