at some point you gotta get diminishing returns, and that service isn't available everywhere. but less latency would be great

it's like when you see someone going into a store to buy spools of blank dvds, good chance he's doin something someone out there doesn't necessarily approve of. and what percentage of the people on the new FiOS service are running mad torrents/p2p

Big, I agree with you. I'm not sure what people can (legitimately) need huge bandwidth for. But, like horsepower, it's nice to know you have it when you need it.

 

It's not the size of your pipe... it's how you use it.

now we have divx and hddvd and soon bluray

from telephone modems at 300, 2400, 9600, 14400, 28800, 33600 and 56000 baud

to isdn and now dsl/cable

the future will probably have more 3d stuff, who knows
