Vortex in Sedona: I was reprimanded.

Vortex in Sedona: I was reprimanded.
When we were in Sedona, we were told that there are vortices in four locations. A vortex generates negative energy and has weird effects on people. It's a Native American thing. The airport is high on a hill, next to an overlook of all of Sedona and the surrounding red rocks. (See pic below.) The overlook is the site of a vortex. We had just gotten there, when we saw a woman with a huge rattle leading a group chanting. She stopped what she was doing, walked over to me, took me aside, and said "Would you please stop taking photographs? You're disturbing the vortex." I had to sort of tell her where she could stick her rattle: "Hey, I'm a tourist. I'm spending money on a bed and breakfast room, food, booze, gas, souvenirs, a jeep tour, even a carwash. I'm contributing to Sedona's economy. What are you doing? Bilking these poor people out of their money. Go away." Her face turned bright red. I thought she was going to take a swing at me with her rattle.
