I was wondering about that. That's kind of my style (to hard wire it in) but where? I'll look for suggestions in electronic forum but wouldn't mind your's too.

Also... if I use a remote display and the val1 is in the window does it's display go dark?... otherwise where to put the val1?... and what's the point?

I have homework to do.

Yeah I dont get the remote thing either mine is hardwired and sits on the window with the suction mount. I could never find a place to make it stealth but still give it line of sight

If the unit is weatherproof, couldn't you mount it near the front of the car (i.e...grill) and mount the remote display inside?
