Today is our 48th anniversary.
In 1970 I was living at the beach in Marina del Rey with a roommate. Our landlord announced that two ladies were traveling in Europe for the summer and would be moving in next door to us in September. One of them was Anne Marie. We had common bedroom walls (knock, knock) and quickly got to know each other.

Yeah, ours was different. So was the start of our honeymoon. We got married in Anne Marie's parents' backyard. We were the last out the door at the party afterward, and at 1 AM we got in my Mustang hot rod with a dirt bike (motorcycle) strapped to the back and drove from LA to San Francisco. One of the dumbest things I've ever done in my life. I think we slept for the next 24 hours straight.

story, but this is a close (CLOSE!) second for my favorite Raptor (and Anne Marie!) story.Congrats you two!
