Hi guys,

Although I wasn't able to complete my leg of the Pan Global drive last weekend, I had to go into my new employer's headquarters office yesterday near LAX, which just happens to be about 70 miles away from my house - and I chose to take the S2000 and drive the coastal route through Malibu.

Here are my photos. It was really overcast, so the beach pix kind of suck.

Here I am, heading out. Damn, I've obviously laughed WAY too much in my life, time to get the Botox going!

Look closely at the side of the road, it's the entrance to Leisure Village. This is NOT where I live.

The freeway entrance: north to Ventura, or south to LA? Neither - I'm taking the coast!

Uh-oh. An RV ahead and a big fog bank.

Zuma Beach in Malibu. Lots of tourists here on vacation, wondering where the hell the sun is. Meanwhile, it's 95 inland just a couple of miles.

The entrace to Zuma. Classic palm trees, ultra-California shot.

After my meeting near LAX, I headed back home through beautiful Malibu Canyon:

A few shots of some of the nice twisties through the canyon:

Through the tunnel, and then I'm heading into the valley, where it's going to be time to crank the A/C!

I'm so jealous, all it does here is rain, rain, rain.

Glad you had a good drive Kathy

Well, I can finally say there's one good side to having to give up the S2000 - now you don't have to feel bad driving "top up".
