I hiked Mt Evons, it is over 14,000 ft above sea level. It was a 3 hour hump just to get up there, but it was beatifull. Peacefull and serene, just want I needed.

Sounds excellent April

I used to do a lot of walking in the UK in the Lake District and up in Scotland .... some beautiful scenery up there

We walked from the east coast of Scotland to the west coast in a day one time ..... very cool indeed

I just can not tell you what I felt and thought out there looking over a lake on top of a mountain with a waterfall feeding the lake. I will show you pics before the weekend is over. ( Ihope) I just needed that to realize that the petty stuff in my life is not such a big deal. It really refreshed me, plus my tour guide was pretty helpfull also...

We went to an indian reservation and camped and looked at all the ruins and houses they built into the sides of the caverns thousands of years ago. Got to show you the pics.
It was so funny, It was City Slickers Barbie and Ken meet the wilderness people. They were starring at us, and we were staring at them. It was a riot!!
Those people could really use a manicure and a pedicure!!

No james, that is called necassary 1 vice, and that was coffee. Trust me, I was one with nature. Did not shower for almost 2 days (yuck) scratched the heck out of my legs, ruined my sneakers, plus strained the heck out of my back hiking for 3 hours straight one way mind you with almost a 40lb ruck sack on. I had a compass, light, and a serrated knife incase I got lost and stuck. You would not believe it unless you saw it, so will get the pics this weekend hopefully if the posting thing goes well.
