I'm saying it's a step up from my CBR600 and a step below a 750 since it's newer than the CBR and it's 636cc versus all the 600 bikes that are 599cc. So it has some more power and the suspension is awesome. In a recent bike test of all competition against a ZX-10R, the ZX-10R took first, then a Gixxer 750, then the ZX-6R, then a Gixxer 1000 and Yamaha R1. I'd say that's pretty good.

 

I'm hope the ZX-6R is light unlike my friends ZX-9R

I'm telling Jake, the ZX-6R is 355lbs. The Gixxer 600 is 354.9lbs, an R6 is 357lbs, the CBR600F4i and 600RR are 370lbs. So, it is only .1 lb. heavier than a gixxer and lighter than the rest, it's also only 40lbs. heavier than my 250 and about 40lbs. less than my CBR.
