I'm saying I was professional, calm and stuck to the best lesson in conflict resolution I was ever given....just kept repeating CALMLY the same thing! All the other employees said I handled it well...but it still doesnt sit well

I'm thinking you did the right thing.

If it was truly justified by her actions . . ... the you just gave her a free lesson in life.

The tough part is that life teaches hard lessons. I know some of your thoughts. Man, she has bills to pay. She needs this job, etc. But, one must be accountable for their actions.

I'm saying from my experience in dealing with such people, I like to smile really big at them while telling them what they don't want to hear, then continue to smile as I think of saying what I REALLY want to say to them. The best revenge is that they go away knowing they were being "difficult" and I remained completely pleasant.
