I'm saying I was professional, calm and stuck to the best lesson in conflict resolution I was ever given....just kept repeating CALMLY the same thing! All the other employees said I handled it well...but it still doesnt sit well

I'm thinking you did the right thing.

If it was truly justified by her actions . . ... the you just gave her a free lesson in life.

The tough part is that life teaches hard lessons. I know some of your thoughts. Man, she has bills to pay. She needs this job, etc. But, one must be accountable for their actions.

 

I'm saying from my experience in dealing with such people, I like to smile really big at them while telling them what they don't want to hear, then continue to smile as I think of saying what I REALLY want to say to them. The best revenge is that they go away knowing they were being "difficult" and I remained completely pleasant.

 

I'm suggesting a new form of conflict resolution.... which I learned playing CounterStrike...

I'm going to suggest next time you take the book from the customer then just say, "Yes the book really is $2.99 but we do not want to sell it to you."

 

I'm thanking the s for listening to my drivel about this....man this shit usually rolls off me...but this lady got under my skin!

I'm saying it is understandable since you really long to have one of the hotties get "under your covers."
