I'm telling Rob things are a bit slow for westside ing today.

 

I'm apparently the only one regularly postin' in here today

 

I'm working on some stupid crap. My boss knows I don't have shit to do, so if I don't get it done today it's pretty obvious I'm ing off too much.

 

I'm also reporting that the real work I had expected to begin tomorrow has been delayed indefinitely so we can resume working on the hopelessly doomed project that has consumed most of our summer.

Which means one more week of ing all day.

 

I'm in the exact same position. And my boss just commented today that it is apparent to everyone else in the office that I have been rather slack lately. What everyone doesn't see is that I don't have shit to do.

 

I'm saying my office is unusually freezing today

 

I'm going on to say . .. . that my schedule is binary. Sometimes I work til 7pm every night. Sometimes I'm gone after lunch. No one complains when I'm the last guy to leave here.

I'm saying this is typical... nobody appreciates when you bend over backward to get something done, but bitch and moan to no end if you're not doing something when there's little to be done.
