Martin, I just started.. don't 
me for god's sake 
helmet, leather jacket , leather gloves, still gotta buy boots hopefully this weekend. I only ride on the weekends fo rnow and not alot b/c I'm still getting use to riding

Just happy to hear you do wear the necessary stuff 
On the street, I'm a fan of Aerostich suits We used to ride in sub-zero weather as long as it was dry using their suits. And w/o the liners, they breathe nicely on hot days, too.
