Default Planning Thread: PluckyCon/Chazmageddon

List of folks attending George's concert in NYC (notify me and Sophia if you need to be added). Also, if you're on this list and NOT coming to Chazmageddon, I'd like to know:

Chazzy +1
Mikey +1 (Baby Adam can sit on lap)
Lesley [Cancelled]
Mitch [Cancelled]
WSB
Mom
Qtee ( +1 possible) [NYC only, no Chazmageddon I think ]
Lorie [NYC only]
Vanessa [NYC only]
Dave
Cheryl [Cancelled]
Jack
BFAMAZON [NYC only]
Kevin [Chazmageddon only, no NYC]
Jen [NYC only]
Jackson [NYC only]
jtpassat [Chazmageddon only, no NYC]
Mocky57 [Chazmageddon only, no NYC]
Mike (Jacko) [Chazmageddon only, I think??]

----------------------------------

Arriving NYC Thursday afternoon, 30-Jun, with +1. Attending George's concert 7:30 on. Hoping to meet folks for dinner beforehand. Sophia has reserved 20 tickets to the concert.

I'm thinking the Carnegie deli on 57th street might be nice for the s to meet at for dinner!

Spending evening at St. Regis Club, Essex House, Central Park South.

Driving back to MA with +1 on Friday afternoon, 1-Jul.

Hosting pool party at my house on Saturday aft., 2-Jul. I will be asking people to bring the drinks they want, and I'll cater the food (see menu in blue below). People can arrive anytime and stay as long as they like. If it's a hot day, definitely come early and maximize your poolness. Out-of-towners are welcome to floor/couch space overnight. James and +1 are not coming , and I have three guest rooms:

1. Mike +family have the large guest room.
2. Dave has one of the kids' rooms.
3. Motoo has second kids room.
4. Jeff is planning on crashing on a couch

Gina is renting a car in Worcester, so she is hopping a ride up here from NYC with Lesley and Mitch. Anyone else, please let me know if you need anything from me. Any is welcome to crash on couches/floors/etc.

For folks coming to Chazmageddon, please PM me for directions, phone, etc. I will not be posting that here.

Here's some info about hotels in the area near my home: You can use expedia.com to locate hotels near West Boylston...

As I mentioned, there's floor space for folks to sleep over casa Chazmo (James and FP get the extra bedroom), but if you want your own space, here's a couple of suggestions for hotels in Chazmo-land. You want to book for Sat., 2-Jul (the day of the party), and possibly 3-Jul (if you're going to hang around). If anyone wants to come up on 1-Jul, book that night too. We are coming back from NYC on 1-Jul, but would love to have folks visit on Friday evening if they like:

Apparently, there's little point in planning anything.

See you guys when I see you.

I'll post my plans here as soon as I make them.

Chazmo, do you drive to NYC often? How's the driving/parking situation like? From my visit there last December, it does not seem like something I'd like to experience first hand.
