My wife is crazy about Hydrangeas , with her family from Portugal. Her parents are from the Azores, one of the islands there has a nickname of the "blue island" because it is just loaded with miles and miles of the flowers. If you ever see pictures of the Azores the roads are lined with Hydrangeas, pretty cool.

Well I like them bout that much too they are fun to cut and dry too!

I have 2 as not much shade in my yard the large one is on the side yard ( don't ask which location it faces ) just know it is shaded most morning then in the late afternoon it gets cooked all blooms look almost dead but then in the AM they are back full force & puRDY

Never heard of the Azores sounds cool!

Oh look them up, the Azores are islands mid way across the Atlantic ocean between Canada and mainland Portugal, cool volcanic islands.

Pinterest has some great pictures of the Azores Hydrangeas, miles and miles of them along the roads

ing thru Redmond WA in route to Seattle we drove by the old shopping center Red Town Center, they have Sat Exotics shows there, pretty crowded so just passed thru but spotted these 2 S's


parked in the reg lot the Turquoise one really caught my eye

Despite living in a northern BC town we actually have a lot of Portuguese folks, especially from the Azores. My dad and stepmom attended a wedding there a few years before the pandemic. I confess I was quite jealous seeing the photos.

Yeah that teal one was wish we had been able to park n walk the lot of Exotics but we were headed over to Seattle, saw the rear end of a new Ford GT
