So my 180-day driving probation (deferred adjudication) started Tuesday and I just got a fubbcking ticket on the way home from school today.


"Acceleration contest."

 

I was next to my friend at the traffic light so we were talking (I didn't check my mirrors like I always do), and when the light turned green, I smoked the tires, then once I hit the brakes, I look in my rear-view and the state trooper is a few cars back in the next lane.

He switched into my lane quickly and got right on my ass, then turned on his lights.

 

oh oh ... now you're fcuked. Moving violation to burn rubber. Sorry

 

Well, I ain't that ****ed, but the first ticket (for which I took deferred adjudication) will now go on my record. The whole point of probation is that if I pass cleanly, the ticket doesn't go on my record - I only have to pay the ticket.

So much for that. The first ticket was for wrecking my S2000.

The only thing I'm pissed about is that now I may not be eligible for the grad programs at UTI (factory-paid training for Ford, GM, Chrysler, Porsche, Benz, BMW, Audi, etc.)

We'll see how it all works out...

 

That's why my insurance never wants to drop me.

 

I'm also pissed that I didn't wait until tomorrow to sign up for probation on the first ticket. If I had waited, I probably would've still gotten the ticket today, but it wouldn't affect my probation because I wouldn't have been on probation yet...



Or better yet, I'm pissed that I didn't sign up for probation today instead of Tuesday. I wouldn't have been at that intersection in the first place.
