I can't believe they would really arrest someone for that. It's not like they were putting a light on their car and pulling people over.

I would go to Australia, but then they would think they had won ..... if I went there of my own accord rather than being sent there as a convict

Not in California. They hide behind trees, etc.

 

In general, I have no issue with the cops stateside. But get me started on speed traps and highway law enforcement and my dander starts to rise.

Most people in the UK feel that way as well Charlie. It is now seen as another tax on motorists because of the way they enforce it
