I'm thinking that a charcoal grey (maybe a shade darker than silverstone) will really look slick, C-man. Anyway, it's cool that you're trying this...

Did you look into an '04 cluster?

that was for the

Chaz, I can't say that I cared much for the new clusters when I saw them at the meet in Va Beach, especially the headlights. I think when I get my second set, I'll leave them black, then just keep experimenting with my old ones. I'm going to leave the covers off and try different shades to see how they look.

Who knows...

I wish the shaggin wagon would break so I could focus my attention elsewhere...

Yup, I agree with you C-man. Although, I think the 04 taillight cluster is better than the headlight cluster. Anyway, enjoy the project. I'd still go with a darker color than silverstone, though.

I intend to. Thanks for the suggestion. I just wish I couls come up with a good accent color that wasn't too outrageous, but the only thing that blends well with silver is silver and maybe black.

C-man, I also think a dark blue (almost navy) would be smashing with silverstone, but you'd have to do a few accent pieces on the car in that color to make it look right. Just a thought.

(I need to go take my Metamucil and change my Depends now)

funny you should mention that, when I painted my calipers, I don't want them to look like Brembo knock-offs, so I stayed away from red (although on a red S2000, they look fantastic). I ended up going with a deep blue (ford engine blue to be exact) and it complements the silver nicely. You can just catch a glimpse of the shade on the right rear wheel in the second picture. I would need a darker blue, like you said, for the taillights though.
