Koi was way too expensive....I tried. He wanted $40 for one the same size as the 6 inch goldfish for $6.

You should just stick your hand in the tank. Free, and your flesh always grows back. Just rotate hands so'll there will be enough flesh grown back between the feedings.

Actually Jim, you'd be surpised how cheap they are to feed. We feed them beef heart about once a week and you can buy a whole heart at the supermarket for $2-$3. One heart will last over a month. They also get flake food on occasion.

Geez, ive never had a fish longer than a couple of days. They dont do so well in tap water.

Buying those beta males on sale at wal-mart was fun though.
