I keep walking into this ... a guy came in the other day same situation..and he brings the book to the counter with a sliver of a price tag cut off that says .99 and says " how much is this?" no issue ....women

I think it's a shopping thing... women can't let go of a bargain even if it means they have to get nasty.

 

OMG i hate women who do that.. i was shopping one time with a friend of mine and i picked out a pair of shoes that we thought were 20% off the original price of $200. we get to the counter to find that since they are "high end" shoes the mark down is only 10%.. i say ok fine.. no biggie.. i like the shoes and i needed them for a charity benefit dinner to match my dress.. my friend insists on arguing, yelling and screaming at the clerk for a 20% discount... i repeatedly kick her and jab her with my elbow yet she continues to argue.. i keep trying to say that the 10% is fine and it doens't matter.. she continues to raise her voice above mine.. finally i give the clerk my credit card and tell her to just ring it up at whatever cost... i swore to never go shopping with that friend ever again.. it was prolly the most embarrassing situation i have ever been in
