But seriously, big dogs are just soooooooo much work. You can have a dog (no matter if big or small) only if there's someone at home with it all day. Otherwise dey so lonely

The difference is... the Great Pyrenees is meant to be a watch dog... the Bernese Mountain Dog is meant to heard and guard... so the Bernese is more likely to roam and not be happy with anything less than an acre.
