Default Just got back from the Drag races.

No, I didn't take the S. I went to our local racetracks Street Legal Drag Racing "Midnight Drags"(The reason I am writing this a 2:30 AM). I took my Tundra which is relatively stock, it only has a K&N Air Filter and the jack and tools taken out. I went for fun, since I had never raced at a dragstrip before. Unfortunately my times show that, also the fact that I was at 4000 ft. elevation didn't help, but here are the times nonetheless.

First Run:
ET: 17.77
MPH: 79.63
R/T: 1.530
60': 2.974

Second Run:
ET: 17.59
MPH: 78.28
R/T: 1.186
60': 2.656

Sad, yes, but I had lots of fun. I am going to try in two weeks, but this time I'll have an exhaust and more weight will be taken out.

Do you need pics? It was too slow that pics are not required. Also, part of the reason my R/T's were so slow was that it was an automatic and I wasn't powerbraking, so the delay slowed me down. The point was though that I had a fun time, and I am going again in two weeks, hopefully I can improve my times.

Yes, I was Drag racing my Tundra. It was just for the heck of it. I wasn't trying to run 9's or aynthing, just having fun.

That's a riot! I think it's neat that you tried. Good job!

I'm with mom.... This should've been captured on film / CCD.

Fine, I will be there September 19th and I will have my friends film it or take pics. There is one day where only drivers can come and practice(where I can work on R/T's), maybe I can film from the cockpit.
