But Luke, I've been of the understanding that you bought the tires from Amer Tires and they only matched the price.

Are you saying you order them from Tire Rack through Amer Tires?

What I do is order from Tire Rack and they drop-ship to the tire place I'm going to have mount them... no hauling of tires involved. Only one trip... after I get a phone call that the tires have arrived I go and they mount. It takes 10 minutes on line and one 2 hour trip to the tire store.

It's actually a plan I like to work with... I would rather support the local merchant though... and get warrantee work for free.

Hey, Luke,

When Tire Rack sent your Prodrives to the tire shop, did they include a Gorilla torque bar to get the nuts off? It's a pretty cool dealie. They sent me the wrong socket, which I was able to swap at a neighborhood auto store; the same place that I bought my new lug nuts!

I don't know what a ladpater is, but I'll assume it's the same thing as the bar.

Rock on, Luke-san!
