Ya, the first thing I checked when the car was running hot was the cap. It's an 18lb cap and held ~15lbs so it'll do. What's the ratio? 1lb of pressure increases boiling point by 3

I hear ya...

It is a numbers matching car so I don't think I want to screw with it too much. I was thinking maybe just a Holley carb, a mild cam, and of course some headers and exhaust, and a K&N.

Of course, I have the big wheels and tires, and Wilwood front discs, but other than that, I think I'm gonna "keep it real."

I was looking through the JEG's catalog and they make a turnkey 427 small block crate motor. 10:1 and 550 dyno-tested hp. If I did decide to mod the thing, I'd want at least low 12s by the time the next UTI Drag Races roll around.

But, I do have a 350 that I used to have in my Monte, before I dropped in the ZZ4. I could build a 383 stroker... 450rwhp on the motor wouldn't be too hard.
