Keep your eye on the temp people usually take tstat's out when cars overheat. Do you have a temp gauge?

Well, it's a numbers matching car, with the factory 350. It has 2.5" exhaust, but with OE headers. It sounds cammed, but I'm not sure... Stock cast iron heads and stock carb.

It shouldn't be too fast, but I did pull hard on an E46 M3 convertible... I should've lost...

I don't think it is cammed because it looks like the timing cover hasn't been removed in a looong time. It sure sounds like it, though.

I have no idea what tranny it is - factory original 4-speed manual with Hurst shifter...

But ya, that's funny you mention the temp gauge. It does have a water temp gauge, and the other day I noticed it took forever to warm up, and then it began to get hot... It turned out the thermostat was missing.

But while we're on the topic of muscle cars... One of my friends at UTI has a 7sec Camaro. It's actually his dad's.

Anyway, the only power adder is a small shot (relatively speaking) of nitrous.

If you still have overheating problems don't overlook the radiator cap, make sure it is holding pressure. I once had a t/a that kept overheating and that was what it was.

That's an unbelievable 11.6 liters of raw American muscle.

Ya, the first thing I checked when the car was running hot was the cap. It's an 18lb cap and held ~15lbs so it'll do. What's the ratio? 1lb of pressure increases boiling point by 3

I was gonna say you can build that Camaro to handle and brake as well as just about any car out there but if it is numbers matching you may want to keep it relatively stock.
