I think the two cars are different enough for it to be a fairly simple decision. Which offers you more of what you want?

Tough choice! Is the S a daily driver? The Elise is a interesting ride, but I would want it as more as a fun/track day car. The S makes a better daily driver IMO.

You should talk to King Jer hes wanted one forever. Not street legal here. I shot pics of Jer in one last year an M-Soft Party I was doin photos for. The DUDE that was retiring was a Car Nut so they brought all these cars in from our local High End Dealer! I have seen several at Park Place and its a lil Buggy but I would keep the S myself.

Here J take a peek....

I think these are older ones though.

Edit:
Actually J I changed my mind I think you SHOULD get one if YOU really like it/want one! Everyone has their opinions on cars and its personal preference so you should listen to YOU!

I know a couple of people who had Elises. Both say that they are NOT easy cars to live day-to-day ... great if you want a fun car for the weekend and the track, but not something you would want to be driving to work every day ... I guess things would be better for you since you don't get too much rain, but from what I heard they are a bit of a handful in the wet !!

As Mom says though, go with what you think you will enjoy the most

It's not a replacement for a daily driven S... which I think you do, Jed. You'd really need another car to drive to work and get groceries in.
