I just realized the headlight fixtures on my Prelude are glass.

I was going to check if they needed polishing today and they turned out to be glass. I just had to clean them and now they are crystal clear. They have replaceable light bulbs in permanent glass fixtures, I wish they still made lights like this design today.

I just was reminded of how unnerving it is to drive across a steel grate bridge with studded tires.

I just brought home a vehicle that had studded winter tires. They seem so strange to me, definitely overkill in our region, though traction was pretty astounding when I tried get into a skid.

I just gotta agree. Never had a vehicle with studded tires, even driving in "northern" Ontario and the mid-west for years. When I first got the HR-V I was living further up in the mountains so AWD + studded tires were a must. Now that I'm in town the studs are still helpful.
