If I were to make a definite statement which proved to be incorrect or to which you objected, I could become abother of the huge statistics of people getting sued for massive amounts of money for the stupidest of reasons. However, by saying "could be" I am showing that there is the potential for doubt as to the validity of the statement, therefore anyone taking an action based on such statement should be aware that there is a potential risk in taking such action
