Horrible horrible person getting out of Jail

It's been all over the news here recently.
I remember very clearly when she was sentenced - because I remember thinking that she could have potentially been released right about the same time I would have finished my undergrad (had I stayed f/t right after high school).

One of my first forays into the 'net beyond email. The details were forbidden to be released. The word was though you could get more detail on something called the 'net. I'd already been pissing around with email and the internet and started looking around for the news. This is just before I got Mosaic.

Jed is old school.
I was mostly using BBS services until I got my own computer in '97 and signed up for a 14.4 dialup connection. My friends were jealous and signed up soon thereafter, and my status as a dork was insured.

THere was hardly anything to connect to when I started. I'd sometimes connect to a buddies computer via modem... no one does that any more. When I returned to school in '93 it was fun to connect to school but there were still no websites.
I started connecting to the Web with Mosaic in '94 and started my own page in the same year. There was a time when you could actually know *most* of what was on the web. Think of that!
