i'm not that they bought land over cars, but they spent all their $$$ on the house and they can't even furnish it! they're tring to impress. and their house is nice, until you walk inside and there's nowhere to sit

even buying land can put you beyond your means. Buy a modest home with a nice garage and buy a nice car and save your money for early retirement...
