oh! yes! I forgot to update

she fell in love with Toby as soon as she met him... took him home for a trial week... and now has ownership of him

she said he is such a sweet and loving dog... and is very impressed with all the training I did with him (no official obedience school or anything). She said I should come over and train her other dobie!

But I do miss him a lot

I'm very very sad about giving him up, even though I know that he is doing much better in his new home. He has constant attention from his new owner and the other dobie... which is exactly what he needed and what I couldn't provide. Work and my commute kept me away from him 10-12 hours out of the day.

His new owner just emailed me his latest adventures. She has fallen totally in love with him ... who wouldn't? I'm glad he's doing well and that he's happy in his new home but I wish I could have kept him. ;_;

I would love to have a dog but I've got pretty much the same situation as you do. I'm glad Toby is happy and be sure and visit him frequently.
