Default Guinness' New Shoes...almost

As some of you know, I have been in the process of buying a set of Rota Circuit 8 wheels and Toyo T1-S tires recently. Well, when I got home from Tacoma last night I was greeted by the sight of these...

Two of the four tires I ordered had already arrived...and I was stoked!

Today I was out having coffee when I got a call from the FedEx guy and here's what he had for me...

Each was wrapped in little socks, too...

I met the FedEx guy at the gate to my condo complex on my way home. When I pulled up to his truck in Guinness he looked at me and asked with a bemused tone where I planned on putting the boxes. I pointed to the passenger seat and he sorta shook his head and said ok. I have been giddy all evening.

Only one snag in all this. You'll note that I mentioned above that only one pair of the tires showed up. Well, I called FedEx today to find out where the other set was and...well...somehow the second set is on it's way from California to Seattle...THROUGH FLORIDA!!!

On the up side...at least they didn't lose the shipment and I should have it next week.

I'll take more pics once they're mounted up and on the car next week!

Doesn't look like I'll have the other 2 tires by this weekend. It looks like Monday or Tuesday if I'm lucky.

Yep, that's one of the 4 (I think) Cake CDs I have floating around. I had a friend a few years back that was good friends with the band and got me hooked.

BTW...the only reason I took the pic of the wheel in the ugly (but comfy) green chair was that it showed the color of the wheel better...

They're 15x6.5 w/ a 38 offset.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm excited about getting them on the car next week and seeing how they look and feel.
