I'm giving you credit for being a smart guy. You know, I think you know then that there's a lot of shite that's going on that will remove support from our troop's efforts in the Middle East. That's not what I want. That's not what you want.

I think I'm older than you and all that that means is that I have the misfortune of remembering Viet Nam. I was just a kid, but I remember what bad guys the soldiers became toward the end... or the loudest part of society at the time would have you believe. Those guys weren't bad. But I sure wouldn't have wanted to trade places with them

They had it bad both ways.... shitty duty abroad and no support back home.

So what I'm hoping is that the soldiers abroad don't lose the support of the folks back home (to say nothing of world opinion) through a set of classic blunders... Like portraying those that we are trying to 'liberate' or 'emancipate' as fools or monkeys.

Are they going to thank us or hate us more? Picture 3 points to the latter... Picture 1.. now that's just funny (maybe only to us whores but funny).

I understand what you are saying. In no way was it meant as an insult but as a joke. Saying that they were born as an accident. I could have put that caption in any picture, it just happened to be the one that had a US soldier in the picture. So you didn't pick up on the joke, instead immediately took it as a jab at him (the US soldier). I highly support the US troops and the war we are fighting.
