I'm not sure where the term started, per se, but it came from surfing styles before skateboarding existed so I'd point that direction.

It really doesnt matter or a freestyle board, I ride both ways half the time, but you can also change it very easily...

Changing the Subject a little .

How should bindings be set for switching forward foot on the fly for tricks

I have been snowboarding for a couple of years now and am starting to experiment with switching my forward foot while I am in motion.

I'm goofy footed and have my Bindings set at 15 and 5 Degrees respectively. When I switch forward foot it seems somewhat unnatural.

Basically , I'd like some feedback from people that are taking jumps and stuff in the half pipe and snowboard park in general.

ie: Both Bindings are set at 0 or 5 or something like that.
