I called the police but was told no one was in the area, they'd send someone when a unit was available. I called again: "I called a minute ago about people in my shed. You don't have to worry, I shot them." Within minutes there were half a dozen squad cars, helicopters, and a SWAT taem. They caught the burglars red-handed. One of the officers said "I thought you shot them." I replied "I thought you said no one was available."

In all seriousness you should know who is there before you go out guns ablazin. 2 weeks ago I was awakened at 6 a.m. by a noise which ended up being the snowplow going by then 2 minutes later I heard a vehicle coming in my driveway which was a red alert for me. I immediatly jumped out of bed looked out the window to see who it was and it ended up being the police. If I had grabbed my 'heater' and gone flying out I could've been shot.

 

Remind me not to visit you unannounced.
