Fourth of July ROCKS! PWs are Great!
Folks,
I had an awesome fourth of July with my family in Boston yesterday. Boston was nearly 100 degreesF and we're talking perma-sweat all day. Did it matter? Nah. We stayed at the Custom House, which is a wonderful resort right next to Faneuil Hall marketplace. The view of all the area fireworks (from the top of the clock tower) was truly awe-inspiring.
We caught the Charles River fireworks display from the Boston Common lawn (it wasn't visible from the C. House). My little kids, late as it was, were real troopers and had a blast.
I have to say that it's quite a relief to see America partying so well after one of our worst years in memory. There was an incident at LAX (Los Angeles) airport at the El Al counter, but no dirty bombs and nothing major at all that I've heard about. Wildfires continue throughout the country (fireworks banned in Colorado), but the country was happy yesterday
Today, unfortunately, I had to work. I had hoped to do a pan-Massachusetts drive today, but couldn't. ARRRRRRGH! Work sucks and then you die! Good thing I have a hot car!
Thanks for all the good wishes from our international PW community. I feel like you guys are my friends even though I don't know you!
And, Carlo, if you don't post some f**king pictures of your dad's high-testosterone cars this week, I'm gonna sick red on you to stick you with her piercings

I'm kind of glad I wasn't around for the S2KCA vs. S2KI war, John. Sounds like it's been difficult for everyone.
Hey, I hate to admit it, but I am meeting a few good doobies on the other fora. A couple of guys have needed some whupping upside the head, but most have been reasonable. Hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion; it's the attitude that sometimes catches me off guard.
Also, on a serious spammy note, I've learned some important stuff in the S2000 talk and under hood fora. If you guys haven't recently checked your spark plugs, I highly recommend that you do to make sure they're properly tightened down. Seems some folks are having them back off and consequently disintegrate into their engine blocks. OOOOOOUUUUCCCHH!
Hey, catch you later. I'm gonna download some pix of my Zaino'd wheels and post them in my Chazmo's in the house thread...
