That really sucks, man.
In CT I was never really worried about the snow enough to use chains.....It's the deer that suck. First of all they are everywhere...and i mean EVERYWHERE. And besides being really stupid...they are completely fearless......this becomes no fun on the back roads. Think of it like that old video game Paperboy, ducking and weaving.

Cool thoughts about the winter, guys. I know there are a few die hards on the board wrt winter. But, personally, I wouldn't subject my S to the road crap around here in New England.
Led, that's an interesting point about having more control in rear-wheel than otherwise... I think you'd need a serious tire change to even consider it though... You don't plan to run your S02s, do you?
