Our climate definitely has extreme moments here in New England. C'est la vie. It's unfortunate that I can't use the S year-round. On the other hand, the last few weeks (despite the cold) have been VERY colorful around here, so I can't really complain.
Ah, hell, I'm complaining anyway!

I will drive it any time that there is no snow on the ground ....... (which is most of the time in Tokyo).
Having had my experiences with it in the wet, the idea of taking it out in the snow fills me with horror !!!!!!!
I will certainly NOT be driving up to out place in the mountains during the winter, apart from anything you HAVE to put snow chains on (no choice the police won't let you past without them) which I don't fancy doing to my poor S

I LOVE SNOW. I love driving in it, and quite frankly, I find having a rear wheel drive car more manageable in the stuff (especially when it comes to recovery) than a front wheel driver. You lose traction with FWD and you also can't steer (one of the few things my Maxima did a lot and that I didn't like).
Something about an S2000 running on chains is funny.....HERESY!....but funny
what's next? a plow?
