And we're glad you're here, James, to keep whipping us into shape!

How's the weather in Tokyo, James. We've been dipping down in to freezing temps lately.

[oink] I'm really impressed with the S... One HUGE advantage of sitting so ensconced in the car is that you can stay warm with the heat on and a cap... AWESOME. I just hope I don't get caught out with the S in a snowstorm! [/oink]

Indeed! Well, two days ago I switched from baseball cap to wool hat (over the ears). Also, heavy jacket and heavy gloves.

You get so used to being connected to the road in the S, that putting all that clothing in the way really feels funny!

I don't ever wear gloves while I am driving, that would feel really weird to me !

I have a very good climbing fleece which I wear for cold weather driving, never really need more than that, but then again, I do have a little extra built in insulation

I've been trying to shed that extra insulation myself, but it's slow going!

I was just talking about wanting some driving gloves last night. My hands are above the heating area when driving on cold days. They get awefully chilly! Brrrrrr.....

Yeah, that is the only thing... I keep my hands low on the wheel, but the gloves are really necessary when it gets really cold. The car is amazing though. I don't think I would've tried this in the Miata... Too much exposure.

Just drove back from the mountains yesterday morning (Sunday). When we left it was 6 degrees C (43 F ??) my wife was wanting the roof up, but I convinced her it should be down. The sun was really warm, so much so in fact that I got a little sunburn on the way home

(P.S. I really hope the speed cameras on that route weren't working this weekend )

Way to go, James!

Things've warmed up a little out here this weekend, but the wool hat is still in the car.

You know you're really on the edge of insanity when the motor bogs down lowering the top (because the vinyl's so cold it's stiff).
