Did jury duty yesterday.
At the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown LA. (What a dump!) Waiting to get on a jury panel is THE most boring thing in the world. I got on a jury panel for a meth possession case. As always, I said my father was a 25 year LAPD and the defense attorney said "Thank you. Dismissed."
That's another surefire way to get out of jury duty!
