We started doing this at work on Fridays and it is pretty fun.

So, main thing is posting cover songs. Can be cool covers you have found (does not have to be by big name bands), maybe songs that a lot did not know were covers, etc. Mainly, just posting cover songs.

Johnny Cash - Hurt (cover of the NIN song).

 

Johnny Cash - Personal Jesus (cover of the Depeche Mode song).

 

Bruce Springsteen - Don’t Change (cover of the INXS song).

 

Van Halen - Dancing in the Streets (cover of the Martha and the Vandellas song).

 

Most probably know the Metallica cover of this Budgie song (And it was a great cover) but honestly, this is my favorite cover of it.

 

These kids rock the hell out of 46 & 2. Not an easy song to nail like this. Drummer even nails every last piece of it. I read up on them and the girl singning of course is now all grown up and she has her own blues band last I saw.

Wish I could remember who the two young girls were who did a cover of Killing in the Name.

This guy does a cool cover of it! He has tons of cover videos and they are all worth watching. All metal covers of songs. He does all genres of music and turns them into metal songs. And does it well. He keeps a lot of he elements of the songs and then fades more and more into metal as he goes.
