BIOS, look for keyboard something or IGNORE POST ERRORS, something along those lines. It is there somewhere..... ... if you need more help, post up the type and version of your bios.

Good ideas. While the BIOS didn't occur to me (Shame on me) the plugs did... I didn't know where to get them. I'll look around. Thanks.
DUH! Now if we can just find you a key

Why not just buy a $5 keyboard?

This looks good. Thanks, I'll check it.

I hardly ever reboot... in fact I *don't* reboot. Occasional power fails etc.

Yeah I've thought of leaving and old keyboard attached it's just one more thing to fall over onto my car. I'll play a bit this weekend and if it isn't fixable with the BIOS settings I'll break down and tape an old keyboard to the server.

Not all computers have that. In fact, none of the computers I've installed Linux on has that (I did look for it too, in fact I just double checked on my home computer this morning, it's an AMI BIOS).

My Linux "server" at home happens to be an old laptop, so it comes with its own keyboard. :D

Another advantage of using a laptop: built-in battery. :D
