Just a minor point here AnDy but the Barmy Army is really the cricket supporters who are much better bahaved than the football supporters and much more fun to get drunk with

When England comes to play Australia in the cricket I think secretly most people go to watch the Barmy Army than to watch the cricket.
If they aren't at the cricket their doing a pub crawl, and if you can't find them at the pubs their passed out on the beaches getting sun burnt.
