Come on now what about the Balmy Army?
Surely what they do counts as a sport! I mean the amount of beer that they consume during a match and there stamina especially in test matches is right up there with marathon runners.

Those guys are the best entertainment at any cricket match. (excluding the streakers of course )

 

I was in Sydney for the first day of the new years test a couple of years ago (Jan '99).

It was an excellent day, and to hear the Barmy Army chant "Barmy Army" non-stop for about 6 hours was just amazing ...

That was the day that Darren Gough took a hat-trick which was the point at which the whole ground (English and Australians) went wild !!!!

 

They are a credit to mankind.

I remember watching that actually, I think that might have been his international debut that year, he's great to watch.

Everything in Cricket in fixed now though

 

The Barmy Army are the best supporters in the world.....

Cricket isn't a sport, it's just a bunch of overweight blokes standing around getting a sun tan.
